Hi Friends,

On May 16th, I participated in this event for the 2nd time to remember and honor my beloved sister Natalie (1969-2007) who was diagnosed with Diabetes as a child.   My primary goal was to support my siblings in running and fundraising for the event. I also set some personal goals after beating the bridge in 2009:

  • Raise at least $1000 in 2010 for this cause!  (Together we raised more than three times that amount!)
  • Reduce average time by at least 30 seconds per mile! (Shaved almost a minute per mile!)
  • Run at least 10 lbs lighter in 2010!  (Down more than 30lbs!)
  • Recruit at least 10 people to run with us. (I was able to find 5 great people to run with us... Thanks Dan, Eric, Mara, Lynette, Mike! )

Thanks to all that ran, walked, contributed and fundraised!  What we achieved this year is beyond what I could have imagined.
